Our valued public sector client requires an Intermediate Project Manager to support the definition and implementation of land equipment projects.

Background:

This client group provides acquisition and in-service support for land and common equipment that meets the needs of integrated Canadian Armed Forces operations. They currently require support in the effective management of the land equipment program, providing materiel management and project management services. They are sourcing both a Project Manager as well as multiple Supply Specialists.

Tasks:

  • Monitoring the design, implementation and operations start up of the project against established goals, objectives and milestones.
  • Determining and obtaining budgetary requirements, composition, roles, responsibilities, and terms of reference for the Technical Authority (TA).
  • Planning and coordinating project management activities including financial planning aspects.
  • Preparing formal SOWs, work breakdown structures and compliance charts.
  • Developing, planning, analyzing, evaluating and prioritizing deliverables and requirements.

Must-Haves:

  • Project Manager (5+ years)
  • Military/Defence Equipment project (2+ years)
  • Government SOR, SOCD, or SOW (2+ years)
  • Degree/Diploma
  • Secret clearance
