Our national retail client is looking for an Intermediate Financial analyst to support the ecommerce team with financial reporting and forecasting - 28533

Location: Mississauga: 2-3 days on site

Duration: 8 months to start

Scope: The Financial Analyst, eCommerce Finance will play a key supporting role to ensure the creation and timely delivery of monthly results, forecasts, reporting, and other FP&A activities for the business unit they are supporting. This will include the creation of standard reporting and will be responsible to drive improvement in visibility to KPI’s both financial and non-financial.

Responsibilities:

• Create, distribute and present standard management reports that provide clear and synthesized understanding of financial performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve process and systems and implement standardized solutions across area of responsibility and other areas within finance which includes Operations, Supply chain, Real Estate, etc.
• Partner with other Finance and Accounting teams to ensure overall integrity of Financial data.
• Proactively analyze key trends, identify risks and opportunities, and support the business teams’ delivery against financial targets.
• Support the development of annual budgets by aligning targets with key business partner and then partnering with their organizations to set departmental targets based on market dynamics, historical performance, and any known capital and/or expense investments.
• Support direct Manager with onboarding and ongoing training of new financial analyses and methodologies.

Must Haves:

• 3-5 years as a Financial Analyst
• Financial reporting
• P&L management
