S.i. Systems enterprise public sector client is looking for an Intermediate Database Administrator (SQL, DB2) to support the in house Anonymization and Subsetting practice within the Cloud Data Services team - 90561

Initially 9 months contract and possibility for extension. Hybrid - Vancouver, BC

MUST HAVE:

• Minimum of 6 years of experience working with Relational Database management systems implementing and managing DB2 and SQL Server within Agile environment
• Experience in DBMS architecture
• 5+ years’ experience working in DB2 LUW (Linux, Unix, Windows)
• Experience in data modeling and database design multi-tiered application architectures system architecture (e.g., Linux, Unix, Windows) optimal methods of manipulating required data object oriented programming and script writing
• Knowledge of data replication techniques and processes, and cloud computing platforms (e.g., SaaS, IaaS or PaaS)
• Degree in Computer Science or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math)

Nice to Have:

• IBM DB2 and Microsoft SQL Server certifications

Responsibilities:

• Provide specialized knowledge on:
• Anonymization processes
• Baseline processes
• Specific case anonymization processes
• Design or execution questions
• Blob extract processes
• Collaborate with other team members working on Anonymization and Subsetting
• Clearly document and convey, both verbally and in writing, a variety of technical information to technical and non-technical persons listen, clarify and comprehend information
• Maintain personal and team effectiveness by adapting and adjusting to changes and difficult situations, and implement an appropriate solution using judgement and resourcefulness in sometimes difficult circumstances
• Perform work using the team's Kanban board
