Job Description: Our valued Public Sector Client is seeking an Intermediate Business Process Analyst to perform process engineering and process mapping to support a transformation initiative

Our Public sector client is in year one of a multi-year engagement to streamline and modernize their grants and contributions system for international assistance. The transformation program will focus on minimizing the administrative burden, making it easier to apply for assistance, improving risk assessments and making performance data more current and easier to share. The first phase of this multi-year engagement will hone in on harmonizing risk-management and project-management processes, creating a governance framework and establishing a secure system for collecting data.

Must Haves:
  • Valid Enhanced Reliability clearance
  • 3+ years’ experience creating process maps
  • 3+ years’ experience developing and implementing process improvement strategies
  • Experienced in an Agile environment

Tasks:
  • Identify, document, and analyze existing business processes, workflows, and systems to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and clearly define process objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Design and model efficient and effective business processes, considering industry best practices and innovative solutions.
  • Create process maps, flowcharts, and other visual representations to illustrate process changes and communicate recommendations.
  • Identify process bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for automation or optimization.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify patterns, trends, and root causes of process issues.
  • Develop and implement process improvement strategies, including recommending and implementing process reengineering initiatives.
  • Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather feedback, brainstorm ideas, and gain consensus on process improvements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of process changes and monitor their impact on business performance.
  • Communicate process improvement recommendations, project updates, and deliverables to stakeholders
  • Engage and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization to understand their needs and perspectives.
  • Elicit, analyze, and document functional and non-functional requirements for process improvement projects.
  • Document detailed process requirements, business rules, and system requirements using appropriate tools and methodologies.
