Job Title: GMS Analyst (Gas Management Services)
Duration: 1 year
Location: Chatham
Hybrid Model: In-Office (Monday, Tuesday & Thursday) Remote (Wednesday & Friday)
**NOTE: Availability and willingness to work: day and evening rotations including weekends and an on-call schedule. Sample rotations: day (8:00 am-5:00 pm), evening (2:00 pm - 11:00 pm), weekend (10:00 am - 11:00 pm).
Job Title: GMS Analyst (Gas Management Services)
The GMS team is an exciting and dynamic group that is integral in contributing to the overall success of Energy Services at The Client. The team has accountability for achieving revenue targets, operational perfection, and customer service excellence. It ensures that natural gas flow requests are met daily on a timely and accurate basis for all The Client Gas customers and suppliers at the Hub and various pipelines.
As a GMS Analyst, you will gain an understanding of the natural gas market, coupled with the opportunity to interact and develop relationships with numerous departments and customers.
What You Will Do
• Issue and confirm natural gas flow requests for The Client's customers, suppliers, and pipelines.
• Validate daily gas flows on The clients . transmission pipeline interconnects, storage facilities and third-party transmission pipelines.
• Prepare accurate monthly activity statements for EGI customers used for invoicing.
• Respond to inquiries from pipelines, suppliers, and customers.
• Develop and maintain positive business relationships with customers, agents, marketers, and interconnecting pipelines.
Who You Are
• University/College Degree preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with an attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proven understanding of PC applications (e.g. Excel, Word, Web browsers) required.
• Ability to quickly learn information technology systems used to enable GMS business processes is an asset.
• Proven ability to work under tight deadlines is desired.
• Two or more years of previous scheduling experience or comparable industry experience is desired.
