Description
Our valued Public Sector client is in need of a Enterprise Architecture (EA) help develop a target state Architecture Roadmap.
There are several project activities underway within the Federal Government department, for which there is a need of an Enterprise Architect to assist with the execution and documentation of various EA Roadmap work items.
The tasks to be performed are:
A. Assess the current EA Operating model against corporate direction. Propose updates and prepare to implement.
B. Evaluate the Enterprise Architecture program to align and integrate with the organization's investment planning process. Recommend changes to the timing, methodology and processes to improve the relevance of inputs and collaboration.
C. Working with OICO partners, review, analyse and document updates to the IT current state and target state architectures. Assess the feasibility of migrating from the current state to the target architectures, identify the associated risks and risk mitigation strategies.
D. Assess the OAG deployed software solutions to provide approach to comply with the Standard on Systems that Manage information and Data (SStMID).
The deliverables include: (Note that letter/s in brackets show task relationship)
Create an up-to-date Enterprise Architecture Operating Model including actionable steps. (A)
Prepare presentation materials for Senior Management (A, B, C, D)
Assessment and recommendations for EA process improvements. (B)
Updated Target State Architecture. (C)
Summary report on the feasibility of migrating from the current state to the target architectures, identify the associated risks and risk mitigation strategies (C)
Strategy for SStMID compliance. D
