Description
Women and Gender Equality Canada (WAGE) will be building modern applications, in the next few years.The department recently underwent a requirement analysis to map out the departmental needs, processes and issues as well as inform the department of the technical limitations of the Treasury Board Secretariat (TBS) approved solution, Microsoft Power Platform. Following this initial analysis, WAGE now requires 2 PowerApps Developers (System Developers).
Responsibilities:
- Design system iterations using pre-determined business requirements, develop system iterations: create and administer proof of concept (POC) to meet the foundational platform requirements.
- Perform development, testing, integration, and production environments, to achieve the high-level vision included in the architecture design.
- Build an integrated, client-centred service delivery model along with reengineered business processes to increase opportunities to automate transactions and self-service capabilities.
- Work with dedicated Modernization and IT teams , to build a client centered PowerApps which will modernize business processes and optimize systems integration.
- Development of the total systems architecture to enhance integrated technologies and services
- Lead and participate in the planning and building phases of the system
- Design, build, and test system integration components
Must Haves:
- Reliability Level 1 Federal Clearance
- 10+ years of experience as a developer
- 5+ years of experience working in PowerApps/Dynamics 365 development
- 5+ years of experience in developing REST API’s using Visual Studio and C# that integrate external systems with systems based on PowerApps using Javascript plugins
- 2+ years of experience in developing complex BI Reports based on data from SQL Server or Dataverse
Nice to Haves:
- 3 federal projects in the last 10 years
- Bilingual
