2 Senior Database Developers with strong SQL and Cloud skills required to support Client environment

Our Concord based client requires the services of 2 Senior Database Developers with strong SQL and Cloud skills to support their environment.

ROLE:

Performs duties to analyze, design, develop, test, implement, maintain, and support application/services databases, and their related dev/test and production environments on premises and cloud

To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to collaborate with various teams to ensure efficient data storage, retrieval, and management, as well as optimize database performance, security, and scalability

• Design and implement database schema and structures that meet the organization's requirements.
• Develop SQL scripts and stored procedures for data manipulation, extraction, and reporting
• Optimize SQL Code as necessary
• Develop KQL scripts for data manipulation, extraction, and reporting
• Maintain data integrity and enforce referential integrity constraints
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query tuning, and other techniques
• Monitor database systems to identify and resolve performance issues or bottlenecks
• Trouble shoot and resolve database connectivity and performance issues
• Facilitate data migration between different database systems
• Develop ETL processes for data integration
• Ensure data consistency and quality during migration and transformation
• Scheduling jobs and job monitoring
• Collaborate with software developers, data analysts, and other IT teams to understand and support their database needs
• Ad-Hoc SQL Queries. Maintenance of existing SQL processes and procedures
• Assist with periodic changes, adjustments, or fixes to the existing queries, stored procedures, and ETL packages

MUST HAVE:

• Academic background in Computer Science or Engineering Bachelor degree
• Proven experience as a SQL Database Developer or similar role
• Proven experience as a Cloud database Developer or similar role
• Strong proficiency in SQL and database management systems
• Knowledge of database design principles and data modeling MySQL/DB2 is a plus
• Azure SQL Database, ADLS G2, ADF skills
• Familiarity with ETL processes and tools
