Junior Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Mechanical Engineer to join our innovative R&D and production team. This is a great opportunity to work on conceptual mechanical designs for advanced sorting equipment, collaborate across departments, and grow your engineering career in a fast-growing global company.

- Develop and create conceptual and detailed mechanical designs (3D modeling and drafting)
- Prepare technical documentation such as assembly instructions and user manuals
- Work closely with the R&D team to integrate mechanical designs into complete systems
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure manufacturability and quality
- Follow projects from initial design through prototyping, testing, and deployment
- Occasionally assist in technical support and site troubleshooting
- Be available for occasional worldwide travel to client sites

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (or DEC + experience)
- Bilingual (French and English – both written and spoken are required)
- Proficiency in 3D software (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor)
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, manufacturing, and tolerancing
- Organized, proactive, and eager to take on responsibility
- Excellent communication and documentation skills

- Familiarity with automation or electromechanical systems
- Experience in vision-based or optical equipment design (an asset)
- Interest or experience with AI-integrated mechanical applications
- Experience in technical support or field service engineering
