Position - Temporary Teacher
Assignment Type - Temporary to the return of the incubment
FTE/Point Time - 0.25 Point Time
Schedule: Semester II - Block 4
Qualification
All postings require:
- A valid BC Teaching Certificate
- Commitment to support the full range of student abilities
- Effective communication skills with students, parents and colleagues
- Commitment to continuing professional development
- Successful experience with adapting and modifying materials for a diversity of learners
- Working knowledge of using computing technology to support learning
- A commitment to the Principles of Inclusive Schools and Principles of Learning
Specific to this posting:
- Bachelor of Education (Secondary)
- Major in Science
- Demonstrated successful experience teaching Science at the secondary level
- Thorough knowledge of the Science curriculum
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Ability to adjust curriculum and assessment strategies to meet the needs of a wide range of students
