Description: Workplace Math 11 & Support Block Teacher
Location: Mount Baker Secondary School, Cranbrook, BC
Contract Type: Part-time Temporary (0.571 FTE)
Salary Range: The starting annual salary for this teaching position ranges from $36,176 to $63,838, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.Benefits: We offer a competitive benefits package and pension.
Terms and conditions pursuant to the Collective Agreement between the Cranbrook and Fernie Teachers' Association and School District No. 5 (Southeast Kootenay).
-Preference will be given to applicants with BC Teacher Certification.
-Must have a degree/formal training and/or teaching experience in subjects and at a level specific to each posting.
Job Summary:
0.571 FTE temporary contract, starting January 30, 2026 or upon completion of the posting process to June 25, 2026.
Must have a degree/formal training and or teaching experience in Math at the Secondary level.
This position is scheduled for 1 semester block of Workplace Math 11 and 1 semester block of Support. Please note that all work will be on site.
Please note: Continuing teachers will need to vacate their continuing assignment in order to accept a temporary assignment, unless the FTE is greater in the temporary job posting.
