What you’ll do

Position Title: SAP iXp Intern - Project Coordinator for Translation

Location: Vancouver, BC

Expected Start Date: September 2025

Contract Duration: 8 months

Work Hours: 40 hours per week

• Prepare files for external translation and track against set dates
• Communicate with translation vendors and internal teams
• Work with other project managers to ensure the translation process runs smoothly and on schedule
• Run internal tools and scripts required by the translation process
• Prepare files for review and publishing
• Assist with managing and monitoring the translation system
• Investigate and troubleshoot problems

Eligibility: Must be currently enrolled, or recently graduated (start date must be within 6 months of graduation date) from a coding academy/bootcamp, apprenticeship, associate, bachelor’s, master’s or JD/PhD program.

• Very organized with high attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks
• Ability to learn new processes and follow instructions
• Clear and effective communication skills, especially written communication
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Ability to meet tight deadlines and to quickly understand processes and business requirements
• Foreign language skills an asset
• Knowledge of Translation Memory, Machine Learning and Neural Machine Translation is an asset

SAP Language Experience (LX) is a global team responsible for translating all SAP software products and a variety of internal and customer-facing content into more than 40 languages

As a member of the LX Project Management team in Vancouver, you will work in a dynamic environment and be responsible for preparing content for distribution to translators, tracking files through the translation process, running quality checks on the content, and liaising with the customer and project team to ensure a high-quality translated deliverable. You will have opportunities to help improve processes and tools

Persons in this role are expected to be highly productive, communicate effectively with a broad spectrum of internal and external teams, organized, and show good judgement in balancing budget, quality, timelines, and deliverables

SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 18-30 CAD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount, and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance. Due to the nature of the role, which involves global interactions with SAP entities, as well as with employees and stakeholders in Canada, functional proficiency in English is required for positions based in the Quebec.
