CertainTeed has an exciting career opportunity for a Production Operator based in Calgary to join our team. This is a great chance to join a Top Employer and contribute to our growth and success.
The position is based at the Finishing Plant located at 3304 58th Avenue SE in Calgary. It is a permanent Production role operating on a 12‑hour rotating schedule, including day and night shifts as well as weekends. The position offers an hourly wage of $24.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU?
Successful Candidates should be able to:
- Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner
- Able to work shifts, including nights and weekends
- Able to perform duties such as shoveling, sweeping, cleaning and lifting up to 50 lbs
- Able to operate plant manufacturing equipment as required
- Comfortable with filling in paperwork
- Other duties as required.
What makes you stand out from the crowd?
- Experience of driving forklifts
- Ability to interact and work effectively and professionally with all employees and management staff in a team-oriented environment
- Grade 12 education or higher
