Be a key player in our delivery team! As an afternoon shunter, you will be responsible for shunting all tractor trailers / 24-foot flatbed tandem and box truck in the yard. You must be experienced with flatbeds and throwing straps. You’ll provide reliable and efficient service, contributing to our mission of excellence.

Your role:

  • Move truck equipment around the yard to be loaded (by loaders) and stage the equipment to be ready for delivery the next day

  • Required to strap down loads when needed

  • Required to read invoices and make sure the order on the equipment is correct

  • Pre-trip all equipment to ensure all equipment is ready for the next morning. Report all equipment issues to the supervisor immediately.

  • Support department maintenance and order preparation while adhering to health, safety, and loss prevention standards

  • Schedule to work Mon - Fri 4:30pm - 1:00am *hours are subject to change

What we're looking for:

  • Class A/Z driver's license with driving/shunting experience and driving record with no more than 2 demerit points (will need to send a copy of Driver license, recent CVOR and driving Abstract)

  • Ability to handle physical tasks (loads up to 23 kg) and work outdoors up to 90% of the time
