Reporting to the Director of the Boucherville Distribution Center and working closely with the entire management team and the HR Business Partner (HRBP) of the distribution center, the Human Resources & Operations Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the site’s operational activities. The selected candidate will help monitor HR projects and processes, as well as ensure the execution of administrative tasks related to training, payroll, hiring, and a wide range of activities supporting operations at RONA’s Boucherville distribution center.

Your Role

  • Collaborate in updating all performance indicators and monitor display boards

  • Participate in disseminating operational and corporate communications

  • Assist in coordinating quarterly and annual meetings

  • Support administrative management for managers (ordering supplies, purchase orders, etc.)

  • Collaborate with the Associate Support Center (ASC) regarding documents and the management of all forms

  • Support managers in executing administrative payroll tasks (validating associate timesheets, status and position changes, creating work schedules, producing and tracking vacation calendars, etc.)

  • Work with various stakeholders within the operations team to harmonize documents and reports required for the distribution center’s proper functioning

  • Participate in onboarding new associates by helping plan and organize orientation sessions

  • Contribute to training activities and the upkeep of relevant certifications related to compliance training (e.g., first aid, powered equipment), as well as external and internal training (e.g., health and safety), including updating associate files and Learning & Development systems

  • Receive and distribute HR communications and manage the logistics of related activities when applicable (National Hiring Day, Associate Opinion Survey, etc.)

  • Support managers and the Talent Acquisition team with recruitment activities for the distribution center (posting jobs, printing resumes, printing interview guides, creating offer letters, etc.)

  • Assist in organizing various distribution center events (fundraising activities, themed weeks, holiday celebrations, recognition events, etc.)

  • Act as a resource person for employees and managers of the distribution center regarding any questions related to operations and human resources

  • Perform any other related duties as assigned

The qualifications we’re looking for :

  • Post-secondary education in administration, human resources, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in operations coordination and/or human resources
  • Strong organizational skills and analytical mindset
  • Quality- and detail-oriented approach
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good knowledge of Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Ability to build relationships with various stakeholders
  • Autonomy, discipline, rigor, and discretion
