Your role:

Ensure that received credit applications comply with company standards.

Recommend or approve credit applications in accordance with company’s credit policy.

Analyze all required reports to perform comprehensive credit risk assessments (ex. corporate registry, land searches, Equifax reports, banking references, financial statements).

Communicate with customers, stores, and sales teams as needed.

Create new customer accounts in the system, send welcome letters, and advise the assigned credit agent and sales representative.

Work collaboratively within the team and contribute to various related projects.

Perform all other related tasks to ensure the smooth operation of the department.
What we're looking for:
-
College diploma in administration/accounting or a related field.
-
Two years of experience in a similar role.
-
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English - English will be the primary working language, as assigned customers are located in the Western provinces.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
-
Solid judgment and analytical abilities to support sound decision-making.
-
Autonomous, organized, and team-oriented work style.
-
Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
-
Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
-
Knowledge of the construction industry (an asset).
