Want the unique experience of accelerating growth of a dynamic as well as increasingly visible and impactful part of RONA? We are looking for an exceptional individual who will play a key role in driving the long-term revenue and profit growth of RONA’s online businesses.

The Digital Assortment Coordinator assists their team in implementing and executing product strategies that align with business and financial objectives. The chosen individual will support the digital merchandising team through various tasks, including assisting with the integration of new suppliers, ensuring thorough follow-up at each stage, and maintaining up-to-date supplier information.

As a Digital Assortment Coordinator, your responsibilities will include ensuring that all new suppliers are integrated up to the online product publication stage. We are looking for an ambitious, dynamic, motivated, and growth-oriented individual who will help redefine the trajectory of our essential strategic goal at RONA. Your role

  • Executing contracts with suppliers (ensuring all steps are completed)
  • Opening accounts with our partners
  • Daily communication and negotiation with suppliers
  • Maintaining an up-to-date schedule of daily tasks
  • Overseeing the tracking file
  • Responsible for updating supplier data in our systems and ensuring changes are communicated to relevant teams
  • Identifying process improvement opportunities
  • Assisting in managing relationships and facilitating interactions with suppliers by working closely with digital merchandisers
  • Working within an extended team

The qualifications we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B. Com.) or equivalent diploma
  • Proven professional experience (at least 1 year) in the field of online marketing or a similar position, including digital marketing, merchandising, category management, or customer experience functions (preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment)
  • Passion for understanding consumer behavior and improving the customer experience
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Experience working with multiple suppliers
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Initiative, proactive attitude, and ability to work in a rapidly evolving environment
  • Possess a highly rigorous organizational sense
