  • Knowledge of complete accounting cycle.
  • Manage and maintain all accounting books (computerized) for two companies.
  • Enter data transactions to journals, ledgers and other records.
  • Accounts receivable, reconcile deposits.
  • Enter checks on a daily basis and balance deposits.
  • Collection of overdue accounts. Contact creditors for concerns on unpaid invoices.
  • Accounts payable; reconcile with supplier’s statements.
  • Issue payments by checks, bank transfers or credit card.
  • Enter customer payments by recording checks and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare, produce and file all government required documents, including GST/QST, Payroll (DAS) and CNESST reports.
  • Set up internal reports for CNESST claims and investigate workplace accidents.
  • Daily - Weekly deposits
  • Bank reconciliation.
  • Prepare and analyses of month end reviews
  • Prepare and verify monthly and year end financial statements.
  • Prepare year end files and provide the Auditors with the information needed for tax declaration.
  • Prepare and Process payroll for 40 employees on two company platforms
  • Reconcile payroll payment records including fiscal and insurance deductions.
  • Reconcile payroll sub ledger to the general ledger
  • Distribute pay checks
