What will you do?

  • Responsible for owning all aspects of the Credit & Loan accounting systems.  Working with system vendors to resolve issues as well as scoping and implementing new initiatives.
  • Own the analysis & sales reporting of the finance portfolio’s performance including originations, delinquency, profitability, trending, etc. 
  • Prepare and recommend new financial products as well as business processes.
  • Prepare daily/monthly financials as well as being deeply involved in business budgeting process. Provide support to Accounting & Finance on P&L investigations & questions.’
  • Manage vendor & customer payment
  • Own and maintain the Credit & Loan software systems, keeping versions current. Investigate new technologies.
  • Makes lending decisions within established limits while ensuring adherence to policies and guidelines
  • Develop and maintain a solid understanding of the HVAC marketplace and consumer finance business by analysing competitive offerings and provide subject matter expertise to the Dealer Account Managers.
  • Perform analysis and develop customer facing programs/campaigns to promote the growth of financed HVAC solutions with support from Product Marketing.
  • Provide “in field” customer facing assistance to our Dealer Account Managers and the Reliance Dealer network.
  • Provide campaign, finance payment and program training to bother internal (Reliance) and external sales teams (Dealers)
  • Manages performance of team members through coaching and feedback.

What do you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in business with a finance specialty.
  • 3+ years in the consumer finance or credit industry with extensive experience working with loan accounting
  • Experience in analytical thinking on delivering profitable product and portfolio sales and analysis.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral with demonstrated expertise in interacting effectively with all levels of management.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills with a proven ability to re-design and implement new procedures, processes, campaigns, programs and strategies.
  • Strong aptitude for service excellence
  • Possess innovative market development skills
  • Ideally had responsible for channel and/or agent sales teams and partners
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task with a proven track record for achieving goals.
  • Must have high energy and be self-motivated with a strong desire to succeed.
  • Ability to focus on the long-term functional capability while meeting day to day business needs.
  • Knowledge of the consumer finance business and home comfort industry will be considered a strong asset for this role.
  • Excellent Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.
