With this role you will be part of FIT SRE team to build scalable products using Python/Java/Angular/React and deploying to OCP4, Azure and other Cloud Platforms, and youll have the opportunity to learn and grow, expanding your knowledge base and getting hands-on experience in release management, SRE, DevOps, and software development for reliability and data visualization.What will you do? Contribute to technical design, development, and implementation of applications.Implement effective automation testing strategies along with the build activities.Conduct and contribute to design and code reviews ensuring our apps are scalable, testable, and maintainable.Participate in post-implementation reviews of application, development, and processes, continually working to create a learning environment by sharing with others.Work in an Agile team environment which is fast paced, fun and collaborative.Ensuring the operating efficiency of existing application systems. Maintaining records for the documentation of systems development and revisionsWorking with different RBC internal teams for software feature delivery, support and bug fixesStay current and competitive by keeping up to date with the latest platform capabilities, security, performance, and reusability.What do you need to succeed?Must have: 3+ years experience with Full Stack Development knowledge such as Node.js, React, JavaScript, TypeScript, Python/Java to build RESTful APIs and microservices.Knowledge of security gateways and protocols (JWT, OAuth2.0, OIDC, SSL Certificates)Full software development life-cycle experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, UCD, Helios and thorough testing prior to releaseKnowledge of various SQL/NoSQL data storage mechanisms e.g., MS SQL, Dremio.Solid Understanding of Agile methodologies.Nice-to-have:Knowledge of major architectures style (message oriented, reactive, event based)Micro-service architecture, design, and implementation (load balancing, discovery, resiliency)Good eye for UX design and being able to collaborate closely with our UX designers.Whats in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
