Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?As a Senior Analyst in Transaction Management team, you will be responsible for the coordination of fixed income investments. Familiarity with excel, outlook, and various banking systems are critical. You will also be responsible for supporting your colleagues with new initiatives and project management. This role requires frequent collaboration with several internal operational teams while delivering daily deliverables.What will you do? Ensure processing and client requirements are carried out in the most efficient manner.Monitor and analyze the status of team against established standards and take appropriate action as required.Daily review of Cases/Task to address and clear all outstanding items (where applicable)Deliver quality service to all parties by promptly responding to requests or inquiries relating to client activity/instructions.Ensure continuity of operations and service during vacation and absenteeism.Ensure all monitoring and notification requirements are in place (End of day task, Daily trackers, and recon, etc.)Communicate issues which may affect Launch/Close for Shareholder Service i.e., amendments, revised activity, processing errors etc.Ongoing review of existing procedures to ensure that risk issues are effectively anticipated and mitigated.Reduce corporate liability by ensuring compliance with all RBC Investor & Treasury Services policy guidelines and department policy and procedures.Minimize E & O due to non-compliance with established procedures or failure to identify/escalate a situation that could potentially cause a processing failure.Performs ad hoc request when directed by the manager.What do you need to succeed?Must-havePost secondary education, preferably in Business or FinanceStrong interpersonal skills and networking abilities with other departmentsSuperior communication and presentation skillsStrong working knowledge of PC applications such as excel, word and outlook.Nice-to-have1+ year Securities industry experience and knowledge of domestic marketsKnowledge of funds & alternative investmentsExperience with platforms such as TRUST and MyClientViewSecurities industry experience and knowledge of transfer agencyLeadership skillsWhats in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
