Job SummaryJob DescriptionWhat is the opportunity?Manage a team of individuals responsible to provide day to day operational support to the business including operational support on regulatory initiatives, reporting and key internal control/risk activities and HR related tasks and responsibilities.What will you do?Liaises closely with WM Operations partners to assist in escalation events between the business and operations as well as enhancement opportunitiesLiaises with the Royal Trust Business Initiatives team to identify opportunities for general enhancements to applicationsResponsible for the timely and efficient administration of Business Operations requests ensuring a superior client experience.Efficiently manages key activities associated with the Business Operations teams mandate as per current policy and procedure requirements escalating where appropriate.Oversight of Onboarding/Offboarding of employees within Royal Trust including employee system access requests, business continuity, office and desk allocation in branchesOversight of hardware/infrastructure implementation as well as Corporate Real Estate initiatives such as Branch moves, ordering furniture for branch upgradesWorks with WM Infrastructure & Support to effectively administer enterprise initiatives within Royal TrustEnsure accurate and timely reporting of key internal control and risk reporting activities.What do you need to succeed?Must-have4-7 years of business, finance, marketing, or related experience, preferably in Financial ServicesBachelors Degree (or equivalent), preferably in finance, accounting, business or related fieldExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to maintain relationships at various level within the organization.High degree of PC literacy and fully proficient in all Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Viso) or other project management tools (ie: Asana)Knowledge of systems and applications used within Wealth Management CanadaNice-to-haveExperience within WM Canada OperationsProven experience managing people would be an asset.General knowledge of estate and trust services, custody solutions, investments, financial planning counselling and taxation issuesIntermediate to advanced analytical skills/reporting capabilitiesWhats in it for you?We thrive on the challenge to be our best, progressive thinking to keep growing, and working together to deliver trusted advice to help our clients thrive and communities prosper.
