As Risk Intern in the Counterparty Credit Risk Exposure Monitoring team, you will be involved in the daily management of the credit risk framework for derivatives. You will support daily monitoring of counterparty exposures against approved risk limits, provide oversight on the completeness and appropriateness of risk measurements, help streamline and automate improved risk monitoring practices and enhance the teams analytic capabilities to deep dive certain portfolios of interest. You will help run critical reports and support the development and coding efforts to enhance existing reporting/analytic frameworks.What will you do? Daily reporting of counterparty exposures and limit availabilityDevelop tools to pro-actively investigate and appropriately report and escalate material risk trends and concernsPerform deep dive analysis into the risk profile of specific portfolios and counterparties of concernIdentify gaps in the risk capturing and reporting processes and ensure the accuracy of resultsDevelop/code tools to automate reports and processes and introduce new analytic capabilitiesSupport the migration/development of CCRs internal reporting/analytic frameworkWhat do you need to succeed?Must-have Currently enrolled at a Canadian post-secondary institution with a focus on data science, computer science, mathematics, statistics, machine learningLeadership acumen and a passion to apply it in a dynamic business environmentExcellent interpersonal and highly developed communication skills (verbal and written)Creative and analytical thinker who is self-driven and capable of working in a fast paced environmentProgramming skills in one or more languages (ex.
