You will support the Canadian and U.S. sales directors in growing the company and ensure the fast and efficient handling of customer inquiries in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will manage key performance indicators for the sales department and act as a liaison between customers and sales directors.
Main responsibilities:- Prepare quotes and follow up for 8 sales directors in Canada and the United States
- Analyze orders: logistics, consistency, needs
- Propose solutions or options to directors to optimize customer service based on your analyses
- Coordinate customer follow-ups during sales directors’ vacations
- Enter and rigorously update client management system (CRM) data
- Record all sales opportunities with current or potential clients
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with current clients and ensure their satisfaction
- Respond to customer inquiries via the online chat platform
- Conduct post-sale follow-ups
- Participate annually in a trade show in the United States
- Manage key performance indicators for the sales department
- Handle administrative aspects of sales initiatives
- Coordinate a team of sales directors
Work environment
Requested skills
- Excellent spoken and written English skills (majority of clients are in the U.S.)
- Postsecondary education in administration, business management, marketing, or a related field (an asset)
- Minimum of three years’ experience in sales, project management, and/or customer service, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution company
- Minimum of three years’ experience in team management
- Strong communication skills, professionalism, organizational abilities, and customer service orientation
- Intermediate computer skills (ZoomInfo, LinkedIn, HubSpot, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Suite (Business 365 is an asset)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work well in a team
- Autonomy, versatility, rigor, attention to detail, and motivational leadership
