Description

The HR Coordinator supports various teams within the Human Resources department by handling administrative tasks such as onboarding, employee records management, and coordinating recruitment and training activities. They serve as a key point of contact for employees, ensuring smooth HR operations while supporting compliance with company policies and employment laws.

Responsibilities
  • HR:
    • Act as a first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures and programs
    • Maintain accurate employee records and prepare HR reports to support decision-making.
    • Support employee lifecycle processes; including onboarding, offboarding, transfers and promotions
    • Support to HR Business partners through various HR activities
  • Talent Acquisition:
    • Co-op program support: administration, onboarding and event support
    • Support Recruitment activities including interview coordination, and onboarding of new hires
  • HR Governance:
    • Support position titling activities and maintenance
    • Upkeep and maintenance of HR Hub
  • Other duties as assigned
What You Bring
  • Completed HR degree/diploma, or equivalent HR experience.
  • Previous experience working in a corporate environment is an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work both independently and within a team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
