Please Note: This is a fixed term contract position that will last for the remainder of 2026

The AI Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying enterprise-grade AI and Large Language Model applications that support business decision-making, operational efficiency, and faster insight generation. This role will focus on building AI agents, agentic workflows, and LLM-powered applications that work with Finance data and other enterprise information sources.

The role combines strong software development capability, applied AI expertise, solution architecture thinking, and business collaboration. The AI Developer will work closely with technical teams, Finance stakeholders, and business partners to deliver secure, scalable, reliable, and production-ready AI solutions that align with organizational standards for privacy, security, governance, and responsible AI.

Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy enterprise Large Language Model applications that solve complex business problems and improve access to insights.
  • Develop AI agents, agentic workflows, and reusable AI frameworks that can interact with Finance data, enterprise systems, and approved knowledge sources.
  • Build and enhance an enterprise Finance Agent focused on fast insight generation, analysis automation, reporting support, and improved decision-making.
  • Drive solution design and architecture decisions related to LLM application development, AI agent deployment, orchestration, integration patterns, and production readiness.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Data Science, Data Engineering, IT, Architecture, Security, and business stakeholders to ensure AI solutions are aligned with business needs and enterprise technology standards.
  • Evaluate, test, and improve LLM applications for robustness, consistency, accuracy, reliability, latency, usability, and business value.
  • Implement evaluation frameworks, prompt testing approaches, guardrails, monitoring, and feedback loops to improve the quality and trustworthiness of AI applications.
  • Stay current on emerging AI, LLM, agentic AI, cloud AI services, and enterprise AI development practices, identifying opportunities to enhance organizational capabilities.
  • Support the development of enterprise standards, reusable patterns, and best practices for building and deploying LLM applications and AI agents.
Experience/Skills Required
  • 3-7 years of experience in software development, AI application development, machine learning engineering, data science, or a related technical role.
  • Demonstrated experience building Large Language Model applications, AI agents, or generative AI solutions in an enterprise or production-oriented environment.
  • Experience architecting and developing solutions that account for enterprise security, privacy, governance, access control, and compliance requirements.
  • Experience designing, testing, and evaluating LLM applications for robustness, consistency, reliability, accuracy, and safe usage.
  • Experience with AWS AI services, Microsoft Fabric, and Microsoft Copilot Studio is considered an asset.
Education
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical discipline.
  • Master’s degree is considered an asset.

Language Requirement: Proficiency in English is required for this position due to the frequent communications that must be conducted in English with various stakeholders. This requirement is justified by the nature of the responsibilities and operational needs.
