Job Description
Are you looking for a challenging summer job until classes start again in August? Boréal is looking for student day laborers to join its production team in Alma.
No experience required: we provide on-the-job training. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on work experience in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Work Schedule
  • Full-time, day shift
  • Monday through Thursday
  • Availability required immediately through the end of August
  • Overtime available based on production needs
Main Responsibilities
  • Cut wall panels for the manufacture of prefabricated homes;
  • Handle ThermoLog components according to established procedures;
  • Use various production tools and equipment;
  • Perform sanding, staining, and finishing work;
  • Operate various automated machines;
  • Palletize products;
  • Assist with the handling of materials and products;
  • Keep the work environment clean and safe;
  • Comply with occupational health and safety standards;
  • Report any anomalies or hazardous situations to your immediate supervisor;
  • Perform any other related tasks.
Qualifications
  • No training or experience required;
  • Good ability to perform physical work;
  • Good manual dexterity;
  • Sense of responsibility;
  • Team spirit;
  • Punctuality and reliability;
  • Commitment to quality work;
  • Compliance with health and safety standards.
