Job Description:
Under the direction of the Senior Supervisor, the Production Supervisor oversees the activities of team leaders and their employees to ensure the production of high-quality products according to established standards.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, guide, and support all team members in achieving their goals
- Act as a change agent and ensure a safe work environment, addressing corrective measures when necessary
- Ensure that manufactured products meet all company requirements for sanitation, food safety, and HACCP-SQF standards
- Manage employees and production lines under their responsibility, including training follow-ups, schedules and hours worked, absenteeism, and disciplinary measures
- Prepare reports related to production, health and safety, and food safety operations
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve processes
- Track key performance indicators and take necessary actions to meet objectives
- Assist the food safety team (Quality Control) in complying with and maintaining HACCP-SQF requirements
- Review internal QC audits and follow up on any non-compliance observations
- Ensure employee training on tasks, health and safety standards, and company food safety policies
- Perform other related tasks
SQF/HACCP Requirements:
- Ensure that actions within the role support the production of products that meet the company’s defined quality and food safety criteria
- Ensure compliance with SQF food safety code requirements and report any food safety issues to authorized personnel

Training – Skills and Experience Required:
- College diploma (DEC) in Food Science, Operations Management, or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years in a production supervision role
- Knowledge of HACCP
- Ability to motivate people
- Familiarity with food and meat products
- Computer proficiency with MS Office Suite and management software
- Strong communication skills
- Bilingual: Functional in French and English
