Verify received documents, forward information and/or documents to the housing services team, and file certain documents in the appropriate records. Complete daily clerical tasks, including handling mail and photocopying documents. The student will support and work closely with the Community Relations Officer. She will be required to inspect the grounds of semi-detached units, particularly to ensure compliance with regulations regarding trampoline installation, lawn mowing, and property maintenance. She must prepare and send letters to tenants. Meet with new tenants to provide information or have the lease signed. Follow up on complaints or inspections. She is responsible for documenting relevant information in the tenant’s file or entering the necessary data into the property management software. She will handle mail, filing, and all other related duties.

All students over 18 years of age must provide a criminal record check upon hiring only (dated no longer than three months prior to the date when it has been requested) and is a condition of employment.

Requested skills

Good knowledge of various computer programs in order to complete the necessary documents for data entry;
Skills in writing, translation, calculation, accounting and analysis;
Detain a valid driver’s license;
Able to communicate in French and English (verbally and in writing);
