The incumbent acts as administrative and financial support for the Emergency Services and Public Works departments.

Regular full-time position (non-unionized)

Schedule: 35 hours/week

Requested skills

  • Two-year college diploma in business administration techniques;
  • At least three years’ relevant experience in a similar position, including municipal accounting would be an asset;
  • Ability to communicate easily in French and English (verbally and in writing);
  • Experience with financial software, knowledge of word processing software (Microsoft Word), spreadsheet software (Microsoft Excel) and e-mail (Outlook);
  • Experience with Sharepoint platform;
  • Knowledge of medical terminology would be an asset;
  • Knowledge of Public Works tasks would be an asset.
  • Demonstrate ability to manage/prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment with set deadlines to ensure that supplier invoices are properly recorded in the Corporation’s financial software and that payment deadlines are met;
  • Ability to work in a group and under pressure;
  • Demonstrate autonomy and initiative;
Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
