Assignment: High School French Immersion Teacher
Central Collegiate is a French Immersion Grade 9 to Grade 12 school with a student population of approximately 611 students, including 88 French Immersion students, and a teaching staff of 36.0 FTE. Central Collegiate is located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan and located 72 kilometers west of Regina. Prairie South School Division operates 39 schools with a total enrollment of over 7,300 students. The division covers an area stretching from Craik in the north to the U.S. border in the south, and Mankota in the west to Rouleau in the east and includes the city of Moose Jaw.
Qualifications:
As outlined in the Education Act, 1995
- Bachelor of Education degree
- Must hold or be eligible for a Saskatchewan Professional A teacher certificate.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary and benefits are in accordance with the currently negotiated Provincial Collective Bargaining Agreement and Locally Negotiated Teacher Agreement.
