We are searching for an energetic, enthusiastic teacher with a strong background in teaching Junior High Social Studies. You will prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans with interactive learning activities. You will exhibit sound knowledge in effective teaching strategies by creating a stimulating learning environment using creative techniques to deliver quality content. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to learning is essential. Use of technology and a variety of teaching strategies to reach all learners will be most beneficial, as is working within a video conferencing teaching/learning environment.
This is a part time (0.5 FTE) probationary position to commence the first day of the 2025-2026 school year. You will be primarily responsible for delivery of the Alberta Education Social Studies curriculum for Grades 7 and 8 (first semester) as well as general and personal psychology, Forensics 25 and 35 and a Career and Technology Foundations (CTF) class.
