We are searching for an energetic, enthusiastic teacher with a strong background in teaching Humanities courses. You will prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans with interactive learning activities. You will exhibit sound knowledge in effective teaching strategies by creating a stimulating learning environment using creative techniques to deliver quality content. Excellent communication skills and a strong commitment to learning is essential. Use of technology and a variety of teaching strategies to reach all learners will be most beneficial.
This is a full time temporary replacement position to commence the first day of the 2025-2026 school year. This position covers a leave of absence position. You will be responsible for delivery of the Alberta Education Social Studies curriculum at the Junior High School level.
