Description
This is a full time probationary teaching position to commence on the first day of the 2024-2025 school year. You will be primarily responsible for planning, preparing and delivering course content to Grades 4, 5 and 6 in Altario School. You will also be responsible for some Physical Education classes.
Altario is located in east-central Alberta along Highway 899. The school community includes the three hamlets of Compeer, Kirriemuir, and Altario. The school is the heart of the community connecting families and providing small town support to our students and staff. Altario School is a K-12 school that is home to an agriculture program that includes a student led farm of steers, turkeys, chickens, sheep and more. Altario School has a rich history of high academic achievement, student voice, and community involvement.
