We are searching for a caring, enthusiastic teacher with a passion for inspiring young learners in a close-knit rural school community. You will prepare and deliver engaging lessons across all core subjects with interactive, hands-on learning activities that reflect the values of collaboration, curiosity, and respect. You will exhibit sound knowledge in effective early learning strategies by creating a warm and inclusive classroom environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to do their best. Excellent communication skills, a strong commitment to student growth, and a willingness to be actively involved in the school and community are essential. Use of technology and a variety of instructional approaches to reach all learners will be highly valued.
This is a full time (1.0 FTE) temporary position to commence February 2nd, 2026 for the duration of the school year. You will be primarily responsible for delivery of the Alberta Education Grade 2 curriculum, ensuring a well-rounded program that nurtures literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional development while celebrating the unique strengths and spirit of rural life.
