These positions are currently posted internally to CUPE employees for 5 working days until 4:30 p.m. February 17th, 2026 as per the CUPE Local 5829 Collective Agreement.
We are currently seeking a responsible, hardworking individual with a passion for supporting students within a kindergarten classroom. The successful candidate will demonstrate flexibility, patience, sensitivity, enthusiasm, creativity, and imagination, and will thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
This position is a PUF-funded Educational Assistant role , supporting early childhood learners with identified learning needs. The successful applicant will work closely with classroom teachers other professionals to support student learning, inclusion, and development within the classroom setting.
The assignment commences on February 23, 2026 until the end of the current school year, with a 22.5-hour per week commitment. Specific schedules will be determined in collaboration with the Principal.
Green Dome Islamic School is a K-4 school located in North East Calgary along Metis Trail. The school provides an Islamic learning environment while delivering an accredited program of studies aligned with the Alberta Education curriculum. Students benefit from a well-rounded educational experience that includes regular classroom instruction, foreign language learning, and computer sciences with an emphasis on collaboration, inclusion, and meaningful student support.
