Your role as a Junior Mechanic, under supervision :

• Assist in the investigation of the cause of failures and verify the operation of machinery for defects and failures.
• Assist in determining the nature of defects and failures, using computerized control equipment and other test equipment, to specify the extent of repairs to be performed.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Test repaired equipment to ensure that it is working properly and that repairs are in accordance with the manufacturer’s requirements.
• Clean and lubricate equipment and perform other routine maintenance.
• Complete the required training.

As an ideal candidate :

• Have or be in the process of obtaining a DEP in agricultural mechanics, in a related field or experience deemed equivalent
• Mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and electronic knowledge
• Strong analytical skills and good manual dexterity
• A valid driver’s license to work on the road
