Pembina Hills School Division Facilities Department invites applications for Temporary Labourers for the summer season. Hours of work will be 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. There are four positions available with start date of April 29, 2026 and ending August 28, 2026.
The Division
Pembina Hills School Division provides education to approximately 3600 students in 15 community schools in north central Alberta. PHSD also provides education to over 10,000 students from within and beyond our borders, through our online school, Vista Virtual School. The Facilities Department is responsible for all site aspects such as the maintenance, electrical, plumbing/heating, janitorial, grounds work, playground inspections and OH&S for all Divisional sites and schools. These sites include 11 schools, 2 colonies and 2 outreach sites which consists of 56,899 sq. m2 of facility space.
The goal of the department is to maintain and upgrade facilities to provide a safe and aesthetically pleasing environment to meet the educational needs of the Division students and staff for years to come.
Qualifications:
- Able to work independently and provide team support
- Self-motivated and efficient
- Valid class 5 driver’s license is required

- Clean up
- Grounds work
- Painting
- Renovations
- Other duties as assigned
