Position Summary

Under the supervision of the Project Manager, the Specialist in Store Remodeling, Equipment Assembly, and Carpentry will carry out various tasks related to projects involving store remodeling, store setups, leasehold improvements, maintenance, and merchandising across all company locations.

Among their main responsibilities, the specialist will perform tasks related to planogram revisions, store remodeling, store setups, and maintenance. This includes setting up and installing storage equipment and shelving, executing special projects in collaboration with the merchandising team and category managers, as well as various carpentry and painting tasks.

They will also be responsible for various interior and exterior repair and maintenance tasks in stores, managing equipment returns according to established procedures, and participating in store remodeling and setups. Finally, they will perform any other related duties as requested by their manager.

Desired Profile Skills
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
  • Strong problem-solving and priority management skills
  • Ability to follow specified procedures
  • Able to work well with minimal supervision
Required Knowledge and Training
  • Experience in carpentry, painting, and general maintenance
  • Experience in store remodeling and planogram setup
  • Ability to operate a lift platform (an asset)
  • Skilled in using various power tools
  • Good knowledge of Word, Excel, and Ogasys (an asset)
Working Conditions
  • Salary: $36,983 to $50,852/year (based on experience and internal equity)
  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Option to condense the schedule into 4 days upon manager approval
  • Physically demanding, standing work
  • Travel required across the store network
