We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at Katimavik Elementary School.



Katimavik Elementary School is located in Kanata. Our school serves a culturally diverse population with many of our students speaking one of about 40 different languages, other than English and French. We also welcome international students from time to time in our school. Our school staff is committed to:

All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

If you are fully external to the OCDSB, you may apply to this posting if you have the required qualifications. Please be advised that our order of consideration for Elementary LTO's is as follows:

1) current elementary occasional teacher applicants, followed by

2) qualified external applicants.

Additional Requirements (experience, knowledge, education,) considered an asset for the Position: Spec Ed qualifications are an asset

1. At least three (3) teachers, who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB, and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
