The WSÁNEC School Board invites applications for the following position:
1.0 FTE Continuing Position: Infant/Toddler (IT) with the S?E?EMW_ Daycare Centre, Monday to Friday, up to seven (7) hrs. per day based on a schedule to be determined in accordance with the operational needs of the W_SÁNEC School Board , beginning Mond ay, August 26, 2024.

Qualifications:
o License to Practice in Early Childhood Education and Infant/Toddler Education or Special Needs
o A doctor’s note indicating physical and mental competency to work with children.
o A valid First Aid C ertificate
o Valid Criminal Record Check
Required Competencies:
o Must be physically capable of performing a wide variety of physical tasks including walking, running, sitting, lifting, crouching, kneeling, and jumping for extended periods of time.
o Lifting or moving up to 25 lbs. may be required from time to time.
o Work will be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments and in a variety of working conditions.
o All employees must be able to demonstrate appropriate modeling of active play activities, which include but not limited to: Organized sports such as soccer, hockey, tennis, tag, duck, duck goose and follow the leader.
Preference will be given to First Nations Ancestry
