Working in close collaboration with the business team and external communication agencies the candidate will:

  • Coordinate with agencies: Serve as the primary point of contact with our marketing and communications agencies, managing requests, reviewing deliverables, tracking timelines, and ensuring alignment with brand and business objectives.
  • Support events & trade shows: Plan, coordinate, and execute trade show participation, conferences, and internal/external events, including logistics, vendor management, booth materials, and post-event follow-up.
  • Support social media management: Manage social media scheduling, posting, and engagement with support from agency partners and internal contributors.
  • Coordinate content development: Help gather and organize content for newsletters, website updates, blog articles and campaigns.
  • Track and manage projects: Maintain marketing calendars, deadlines, and budgets, ensuring projects move forward smoothly, leveraging Asana (our project management tool).
  • Oversee reporting and internal marketing organization: Track metrics, maintain asset libraries, and assist with reporting on campaign performance and marketing spend.

Education and experience requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, Business Administration, Sciences, or engineering.
  • 2+ years of experience in a marketing, communications, or coordinator role (agency or client-side)

Sought expertise and knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals, including campaign planning, branding, and content creation.
  • Interest in emerging technologies, particularly quantum computing, deep tech, or scientific innovation, is strongly preferred.
  • Proficiency with digital tools such as Microsoft Office, Asana and Wordpress, and strong familiarity with social media platforms, particularly LinkedIn.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in English and French

Sought profile:

  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • A collaborative communicator who can build strong working relationships with internal teams, agency partners and others.
  • Strong organizational and documentation habits to keep marketing assets and projects well-structured and current.
