About the Company

We are a well-established company specializing in the distribution of fuel and energy products, serving commercial and industrial clients across Northern Ontario. Our customers operate in key sectors such as mining, transportation, forestry, construction, and municipal services. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a motivated Fuel Sales Representative to develop and manage our Timmins territory.

Position Summary

Reporting to the Sales Manager, the Fuel Sales Representative will be responsible for developing new business, managing existing accounts, and growing fuel sales within the Timmins region and surrounding communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new commercial and industrial clients
  • Manage and grow an existing portfolio of B2B accounts
  • Assess customer fuel needs and recommend appropriate solutions
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and supply agreements
  • Monitor sales volumes, margins, and performance targets
  • Conduct market intelligence on competitors and pricing trends
  • Collaborate with internal teams (logistics, customer service, billing)
  • Maintain accurate customer data and activity records in the CRM
  • Represent the company professionally in the field

Requested skills

Required Qualifications
  • 3 to 7 years of B2B sales experience
  • Experience in one or more of the following sectors:
    • Fuel or petroleum distribution
    • Lubricants or energy products
    • Transportation or logistics
    • Mining, industrial, or construction sectors
  • Strong negotiation and business development skills
  • High level of autonomy and ability to manage a large territory
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel regularly
Assets
  • Knowledge of the Northern Ontario market
  • Existing network in mining or transportation industries
  • Experience in territory-based sales roles
  • Functional French (an asset for bilingual clients)
