As a Technical Advisor in the Financial Markets Business Strategy group at National Bank, you will play a key role in the employee management cycle for the Financial Markets sector. Responsible for providing administrative support to the sector, you will participate in the end-to-end process of updating personnel records.  You will also help optimize workflow efficiency and ensure the smooth execution of employee onboarding processes.

Your Job

  • Build strong relationships with partners in the Financial Markets sector, as well as with various departments across National Bank
  • Support business partners by providing administrative support in updating personnel records
  • Ensure personnel records are updated in the internal system including hirings, departures, transfers and promotions
  • Contribute to drafting offer letters
  • Document and optimize processes

In this position, you report to the Vice-President, Business Strategy - Financial Markets.

Prerequisites:

  • Professional College Diploma (DEC) and at least 4 years of experience OR a bachelor’s degree and 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in an administrative or similar role, preferably within a Human Resources or Recruitment team
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams)
  • Ability to work well under pressure and deal with tight timelines
  • Knowledge of Capital Markets is considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, detail oriented, organized, and proactive.
  • Ability to adapt quickly and client-focused
  • Analytical skills and agility
  • Bilingualism required
