This role gives you the opportunity to have a meaningful impact by combining your expertise in brokerage operations, client service, and team leadership to support Introducing Brokers (IBs) and Portfolio Managers (PMs) across Canada.

Your job

  • Mentor and motivate a team of transfer specialists to foster collaboration and high performance.
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of transfers in and out by coordinating with financial institutions and internal teams.
  • Act as the primary contact for escalations and deliver timely, professional resolutions.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, client satisfaction, and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and support the Senior Director on strategic initiatives and projects.
  • Contribute to knowledge sharing and coaching to strengthen expertise within the team.

National Bank Independent Network (NBIN) is the leading choice for Introducing Brokers and Portfolio Managers looking for brokerage administration support. We provide trading and custodial services to Portfolio Managers and act as a Carrying Broker for CIRO-registered Introducing Brokers nationwide.

Within the Transfers Administration sector, you will report to the Senior Director and be part of a passionate, collaborative, and client-focused team. We strive to offer flexibility to support your quality of life, including hybrid work options and adaptable schedules.

Prerequisites

  • University degree and three to five years of experience in brokerage operations or client service
  • Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook (CPH) is an asset
  • Strong knowledge of investments, account types, and regulatory requirements
  • Experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading teams is an asset
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and adaptability to digital tools and automation solutions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • French language is an asset
