A career as a Talent and Leadership Partner within the National Bank's Talent and Leadership team involves maintaining alignment with stakeholders and emphasizing the importance for managers to act as ambassadors for mobilized and diversified talent, thus fostering career development. As a Lead Talent, you demonstrate essential leadership in the Talent Career process, providing clarity and relevance to stakeholders through mastered expertise and remarkable agility. Your goal is to promote career experiences and planned mobility for talent pools while keeping the Bank as a premier career destination.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement talent development strategies, targeting successors and ensuring organizational risk management.
  • Collaborate with HR partners, Executive Recruitment, analytics experts, and diversity colleagues to deploy the Bank's Talent process.
  • Empower managers in the annual Talent Tables exercise and the execution of strategic projects related to succession identification and development.
  • Exhibit strong leadership as a central point for successors, influencing stakeholders in a matrix environment.
  • Monitor Talent processes, manage risks, and identify gaps to promote mobilization and internal mobility.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of targeted development experiences aligned with successor needs and business objectives.
  • Analyze Talent data, track key indicators, and provide recommendations to strengthen leadership development initiatives.

Team and Environment:

You will be part of a team of 4 colleagues within the Employee Experience sector, reporting to the Senior Director. Your team is at the forefront of the Bank's cultural evolution, promoting leadership development and talent mobilization, with a mission to create a stimulating environment for employees and prepare successors for business needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, with significant experience in an HR business partner or organizational development role.
  • Expertise in project management, effective communication, change management, and the ability to work autonomously.
  • Excellent presentation, analysis, and executive writing skills.
  • Strong emotional intelligence, ability to collaborate, and navigate ambiguity.
  • Experience in facilitation, presentation, and leadership development, along with certifications in leadership and team development, are an asset.
