Your job
- Python tools and scripts to support database administration and evolution, particularly for migrations, data quality, observability, automated remediation and pipeline automation.
- Manage and optimize PostgreSQL, Amazon Aurora, SQL Server and Oracle databases, including tuning, indexing, replication, high availability, disaster recovery and non-disruptive upgrades.
- Operate in the AWS environment using RDS, IAM, KMS and CloudWatch, while integrating telemetry and alerting required for reliability.
- Design, automate and improve AWS data infrastructure with Terraform, prioritizing security, reliability and cost optimization.
- Work with architects and developers to define and apply standards and best practices for access management, encryption and secret management.
- Review change requests, document procedures and support teams on database best practices.

Prerequisites
- A university certificate and several years of relevant experience; or a bachelor’s degree and equivalent experience; or a master’s degree combined with appropriate experience.
- Proficiency in Python for automation and Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Significant experience in administration and optimization of PostgreSQL, Aurora, SQL Server or Oracle databases.
- Have worked in an AWS environment that includes RDS, IAM, KMS and CloudWatch.
- Solid knowledge of networking, Linux, GIT, CI/CD and code-based infrastructures
