A career as a Data Scientist - Credit Risk Analytics in the Credit Analytics and Climate Risks team at National Bank means acting as a specialist in credit risk analysis and modeling. It is through your analytical skills, your experience in credit risk and your knowledge of data and regulatory frameworks that you have a positive impact on the resilience and healthy growth of the Bank.

Your role:

  • Develop credit loss forecasting models.
  • Actively participate in reporting and loss simulation exercises by collaborating with all stakeholders.
  • Carry out occasional analyzes to resolve complex issues in the context of credit portfolio risk management.
  • Maintain and regularly evolve the various models according to industry best practices.
  • Produce and deliver presentations to management and business partners in order to influence them in the risk management of their portfolios.

Your team:

Within the Credit Analytics and Climate Risks sector, you are part of a vice-presidency of around fifty colleagues, and you report to the Senior Director of the IFRS 9 and credit losses team. Our team stands out for its varied experience in credit risk and quantitative methods, for its quality of delivery and for its exemplary collaboration. Prerequisites:

  • Hold a completed bachelor’s degree, related to the sector of activity (economics, statistics, applied mathematics, quantitative finance), and 5 years of relevant experience or completed master’s degree, related to the sector of activity, and 3 years of Relevant experience.
  • Mastery of quantitative methods.
  • Experience in modelisation.
  • Knowledge of SQL programming.
