Description
We are looking for a visionary and technically competent Senior Enterprise Data Architect to take charge of the data and AI strategy for the IT Delivery - Wealth Management sector at National Bank. It is through your data architecture and AI skills, investment experience, and technology knowledge that you have a positive impact on the client/employee/partner experience, profitability, and growth of the wealth management industry.
You will play a key role in transforming and modernizing the industry's data ecosystems and supporting the modernization of the Investment Book of Record, which is critical for operations and regulatory reporting.
Your job:
- Act as a trusted advisor to the business lines of the domain in the evolution of the data and AI strategy and support them in continuous decision-making
- Collect the strategy and business issues, their operational reality, translate them into solutions and propose strategies to support the execution of activities
- Ensure alignment of the sector's data strategy with the bank-wide strategy and alignment with the bank's guidelines and standards
- Implement the data platform modernization roadmap, with a focus on real-time processing, multi-tenancy, automation, and business line autonomy
- Provide expertise in data integration, quality management, data lineage, data governance and promote data architecture best practices in support of delivery teams
- Identify opportunities to use AI, automation, and advanced analytics to create customer value and optimize processes.
Your team:
Within the IT Delivery - Wealth Management sector, you will be part of a team of 10 colleagues and report to the Strategy and Delivery Architect. Our team stands out for its investment expertise, its proximity to the business line and the collaboration of all its members

Prerequisite:
- A completed bachelor's degree in a related industry, and fifteen years of relevant experience or a completed master’s degree in a related industry, and eight years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated experience in enterprise architecture, data architecture and data architecture
- Knowledge of the investment field (brokerage/trading/back-office, distribution and manufacturing of GICs/Mutual Funds, fiduciary services)
- Proficiency in data integration platforms (AWS, Snowflake, Databricks, Apache Spark, Kafka, etc.), data modeling techniques, data governance and data security
- Knowledge of AI and machine learning platforms, and the architecture requirements to support them
- Strategic vision and ability to communicate with impact with various stakeholders (IT, business, management) - Strong ability to synthesize, analyze, popularize and influence.
