Role Overview
As a Senior Analyst - Capital Management, you play a key role in supporting the Bank’s capital management and regulatory capital activities. Your responsibilities include conducting analytical work, interpreting guidance, preparing reports, and managing coordination tasks. You will actively contribute to capital analysis and monitoring, ensure the accuracy and maintenance of regulatory documentation, and support governance processes. In this role, you will collaborate closely with teams across Capital Management, Risk, Finance, and Treasury to ensure efficient and effective capital management operations.
Main Responsibilities
- Contribute to the documentation of processes, methodologies, and controls related to capital management and regulatory reporting.
- Perform analytical work related to regulatory capital and leverage ratios, including data preparation, validation, and variance analysis.
- Assist with interpreting regulatory guidance and evolving requirements.
- Prepare capital-related reports, presentations, and supporting documentation for internal governance forums.
- Contribute to regulatory self-assessments, quantitative impact studies, and industry consultations.
- Support the coordination of regulatory information requests related to capital management (e.g., data gathering, document compilation).
- Contribute to capital monitoring tools, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
- Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.
Prerequisites
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in capital management, risk management, finance, or regulatory reporting.
- Basic to intermediate knowledge of regulatory capital concepts (Basel III, ICAAP, leverage ratio).
- Experience working with data analysis and reporting tools.
- Organizational, time management skills and attention to detail.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret quantitative information.
- Ability to clearly document and explain analyses.
- Strong learning agility and interest in regulatory and capital topics.
- Collaborative approach and ability to work across functions.
